Clear agreements
By paying the deposit for the agreed period, you accept these terms and conditions, which then enter into effect.
Families with children aged four and over are welcome at the B&B.
Check-in is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival.
On the day of departure, the room must be left tidy by 10:00.
Any exceptions must be agreed with the owner in advance and will only be permitted when considered possible.
No refund is provided in the event of late arrival or early departure.
The owner is not liable for personal injury, theft or loss of personal belongings, or other damage suffered by guests.
Guests stay at Vicky’s B&B by V at their own risk.
Damage to or loss of the owner’s property must be reported immediately and compensated by the guest.
If these terms are breached or a guest behaves inappropriately, the owner may immediately refuse access to or continued stay at Vicky’s B&B by V, without notice, without being required to state a reason and without refund.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for children’s behaviour throughout the property, including the pool area, and must supervise them at all times.
After a provisional reservation is placed, the accommodation is held for 72 hours. A deposit of 10% of the total stay price must be received within this period. If the deadline falls on a weekend or Italian public holiday, it is extended to the next banking day. The reservation becomes final only after the deposit has been received, after which Vicky personally sends the confirmation letter. The remaining 90% is paid, according to the choice made during booking, either in cash on arrival or by bank transfer no later than seven days before arrival.
The selected method for paying the remaining balance is recorded with the reservation and stated in the confirmation letter.
The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
For cancellations within four weeks before arrival, the cancellation charge is 100% of the cost of the stay.
For bookings made within five days before arrival, payments made are non-refundable.
I recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
Vicky’s B&B by V reserves the right to cancel in the event of force majeure or a natural disaster, without compensation. Payments already made will not be refunded. This applies both before and during the stay.
For overnight stays from 1 April to 30 September inclusive, Papasidero charges a tourist tax of the current rate (confirmed at the property) per person per night, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights per person at the same property. This tax is separate from the accommodation price and is payable at the property. The departure day does not count as an additional night.
Registered residents of Papasidero are not subject to this tax. The municipal regulations also provide exemptions for:
Vicky will assess any applicable exemption with the guest at the property. Where required, a signed exemption declaration and supporting documents must be provided. A parent or accompanying adult signing for a child is not automatically exempt themselves.
A receipt is issued for tourist tax paid. Receipts and exemption declarations are retained for five years under the municipal regulations.
As at any holiday accommodation, several house rules apply in my B&B and its outdoor areas.
